During the Sixth Training Module Project Cycle Management, the training participants and the representative of the Commission for Coordination of Youth Issues of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament Kemal Zuli?, had the opportunity to learn what a successful project is and how to implement it. They are going to demonstrate their acquired knowledge in the course of conducting small actions, thus they will successfully resolve a particular problem present in their local communities.


 



 

During the workshop on Human Rights, which took place on 3 and 4 November 2012, at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, the UMiD participants had the opportunity to learn more about what human rights are, what their role in our society and lives is and about their historical development.



 

UMiD Project Team welcomed the representatives of the Olof Palme International Centre, at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, on 31 October 2012.



 


Institute for Youth Development KULT and Lukavac Municipality have established successful cooperation as part of the project Recognition of UMiD as a training course for active youth participation. This was confirmed during the official visit that took place on 20 September 2012, when a cooperation agreement was signed. The meeting was attended by the Mayor DĹľevad Mujki?, Associate Expert on Informational Tasks Aida Kavazovi?, UMiD participants and the Project Team. The training course participants got the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Mayor, while the Project Team presented the Project and explained the importance of youth participation in the local community. The relevance of youth policy mechanisms and the non-formal education programme recognition was particularly highlighted during the meeting. Mr. Mujki? expressed his readiness to provide assistance and support to young people.



 



 

EU Simulation was conducted as part of the training course UMiD 9, at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 29 and 30 September 2012. Apart from the training course participants, the volunteers from the Institute for Youth Development KULT got the opportunity as well to actively take part.



 

The World Cleanup 2012 action "Let's do it – Let's clean the world in 1 day," which was organised by the Association "Ruke" from Sarajevo and the Association "Mozaik prijateljstva" from Banja Luka, accounts for the biggest action in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina dedicated primarily to cleaning illegal garbage dumps, green surfaces and other natural resources, including the protected areas, in one day. The action was carried out throughout the entire country on 9 September, at 11 a.m.
