ROUTE WB6 Call for Volunteers

Route final

This summer, young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina have the opportunity to volunteer in Albania, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Serbia and be a part of a new regional cross-border volunteering program - ROUTE WB6.

ROUTE WB6 is the first regional exchange program to involve youth in the design process from the very beginning. It is intended specifically for young people and offers the following three options: ROUTE MINI, ROUTE MIDI and ROUTE MAXI.

ROUTE MINI offers youth the opportunity to volunteer at regional festivals and sporting events, for up to seven days. Through ROUTE MIDI volunteers will participate in community volunteer activities lasting up to two weeks, e.g. volunteer summer camps. ROUTE MAXI will provide an opportunity for young people to spend up to two months volunteering in some of the most prominent civil society organizations in the region.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT is inviting young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina aged 18 to 30, who want to use their free time in a creative and fun way while supporting socially beneficial initiatives and activities throughout the region to apply by clicking on

All expenses for selected volunteers (accommodation, food, travel expenses, insurance) will be covered by ROUTE WB6.

The Regional Cross-Border Volunteer Program was created within the ROUTE WB6 project led by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office - RYCO in cooperation with partner organizations from the Western Balkans, including the Institute for Youth Development KULT. The project is implemented with the support of Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
