27 April in IlidĹľa was the day of sexual and reproductive health. Hard-working educators held three peer trainings during Biology lessons in two high schools, the Fourth Gymnasium and High School of Graphic Technology, Design and Multimedia. 90 youth were present during those lessons, who found the topic as exceptionally interesting, primarily because they could speak openly with their peer educators. During the lesson, they had the opportunity to introduce themselves with the anatomy of male and female reproductive system, contraception and HIV.

Youth peer educators full of enthusiasm and energy transferred the acquired knowledge on Let's Sail Together! methodology to High School of Graphic Technology, Design and Multimedia students. The presentation of the stated methodology was held today, on 13 April at SPAJALICA at 1.30 PM. The presentation was attended by peer educators from the Municipality of IlidĹľa.

On this occasion, by passing through each of the five interesting stations, the students through interactive excercises, examples, images, introduced themselves with the facts and information on sexually transmitted infections, HIV, risky behaviour, love, emotions, different gender roles, healthy lifestyle and other topics in an interesting and informative manner.

After concluding the presentation, all peer educators pointed to their own remarks, achieved results, possible difficulties and suggestions for problem solutions.

All the following activities, Let's Sail Together! presentations and peer educations will be presented to you soon.

According to the previous agreement with peer educators from the Municipality of IlidĹľa, Novi Grad Sarajevo, Višegrad, East IlidĹľa and Ilijaš, a Let's Sail Together! methodological training was held on Saturday at 11.00 AM. The workshop was attended by high school students that had the opportunity to acquire knowledge and introduce themselves with the Let's Sail Together! methodology in previous peer training workshops. The training was held at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA in IlidĹľa.

Through interaction, presentations, different examples, the workshop participants improved their previously acquired knowledge, but also learned new information. During the workshop their interest in the topics such as sexual and reproductive health, healthy lifestyle, different gender roles, love emotions, etc. could not go unnoticed. This training pointed out that youth have to constantly keep up with information, be certain in themselves, listen carefully and involve participants of Let's Sail Together! in interactive discussions.

Through joint effort, educated and informed youth know how to motivate youth to take preventive protection measures in time and to discuss sexuality, contraception and similar topics without inhibitions.

Workshops of peer training on topic of sexual and reproductive health were held today at two high schools in IlidĹľa, in the Fourth Gymnasium and High School of Graphic Techology, Design and Multimedia. The staff in these schools recognised the significance of peer education for their students and gladly responded to our call, with which our cooperation on the "Info-Point for Youth" project continued.
