Organised by the INFOHOUSE and VIBRACIJE (VIBRATIONS), on 17 and 18 September 2011, a training was held on HIV and the media entitled Use Knowledge, Use the Media - for Your Health!. The training was attended by 16 youth from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, who wished to learn about HIV prevention, but also about media performances and presenting HIV-related facts through media. 


According to the wishes of participants of counseling held once a month at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, the topic of the third session held on 10 September 2011 was Having Dreams? Explore Them! In addition to discussing dreams, viewing different aspects of dreams and their meanings, relationship of youth towards this occrence and view of psychologists, youth had the opportunity to speak about their personal fears, life losses and other interesting topics. For the following sessions, youth expressed interest in the topic of Relaionship and Communicating with Parents, with particular reflection on their adulthood and independence. 

This month's counseling was attended by the team of Azra magazine that was introduced with youth counseling, the topics discussed during counseling and other particularities of counseling and psychotherapy.

After last month's successful Youth Counseling, we are scheduling a new session on Saturday, 13 August at SPAJALICA. It will be held from 1.00 to 3.00 PM. 

This session of Counseling will focus on the topic Spirituality and Religious Identity with a graduated psychologist and a Gestalt Psychotherapist. 

The content of the session will definitely include concrete examples and topics of interest for the participants.

Let's Change Our World! is the topic of this years' International Youth Day that celebrates a quarter of the world's populace. There are 1.8 billion youth from 10 to 24 in the world today, and many have no opportunity for education and lack other opportunities they deserve. 

Peer educators commemorated 12 August - International Youth Day as a part of Info-Point for Youth project. For the occasion, in front of the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA they shared promo-material, discussed with youth about their rights in decision-making and promoted rights of youth to sexual and reproductive health, as well as improving gender equality. Through this activity, peer educators tried to incite youth to active participation in all areas of social life and animate them to involve in activities of significance for development of their community. 


Employees of the Institute for Youth Development KULT had the opportunity on 15 July to participate in voluntary action of donating blood. The action was held at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA in IlidĹľa, where we were visited by the hard-working team of the Blood Transfusion Institute of FBiH.
